Victoria Falls, a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. is recognised as the greatest curtain of falling water in the world.
At the height of the rainy season, more than five hundred million litres of water plummet over the edge each minute, shooting up columns of spray visible from kilometres away. A spectacular sight described by the Kololo tribe living in the area in the 1800s as ‘Mosi-oa-Tunya’ – ‘The Smoke that Thunders’.
Its namesake city is an iconic destination that has been included on Southern African itineraries for decades. There has been plenty of development in Victoria Falls over the last few years, with the exceptional scenery and array of activities matched by charming boutique stores, coffee shops and inviting restaurants.

There is constant expansion and travel trends are seeing visitors spending longer in Victoria Falls, and planning focus trips to other parts of Zimbabwe that are so conveniently enjoyed from the popular hub.
