Terms & Conditions

APPLICATION OF STANDARD TERMS & CONDITIONS

By making a booking for, and subsequent payment in respect of, any experiences and by accepting and participating in such, all customers acknowledge that they have read and fully understood the content of these Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by them.

Pure Africa takes no responsibility for the clients’ passport validity, visas, travel permits, travel insurance, health certificates, inoculations and any other documentation required for the holiday. Furthermore, Pure Africa does not take any responsibility for clients’ Covid-19 requirements to enter the country across borders. Rates are quoted in US$ and rounded to the nearest US$.

RATES INCLUDE
  • Scheduled and/or privatized services depending on nature of booking
  • All items specified in the “Included” section
  • Specific to Pure Africa experiences: Scheduled transfers to and from hotels within a 5 km radius from Victoria Falls Town except where specified
  • All prices are including of VAT at 15.5%
RATES EXCLUDE
  • Any items mentioned above in the “Fees” section i.e. National Park Fees, Bridge Levies and other Government Fees (all fees are subject to change without notice and are payable on arrival)
  • Any rate changes to services listed under Destination Services that are provided by a third-party supplier (without notice)
  • Supplier T&Cs supersedes Pure Africa T&Cs for all third-party products
  • Meals other than specified, premium beverages, gratuities, add-ons and items of a personal nature
  • Any other services not listed in the “Included” section
CHILD POLICY & SENIOR CITIZENS
  • Children rates as specified in “Child Discount Policy” section
  • To qualify for discounts, children need to travel with full-paying adult and are required to show ID to verify age
  • Specific to Pure Africa experiences:
    • Senior Citizens above the age of 75 enjoy a 10% discount (if paying direct) on production of proof such as valid ID or passport
    • School charters are discounted. Please request rate from our reservations
TOUR LEADER POLICY
  • Specific to Pure Africa experiences: Tour Leaders are eligible to the following discounts:
    • 1 – 5 full-paying guests: Tour Leader is charged full rate
      – 6 – 14 full-paying guests: Tour Leader pays 50% of rate
      – 15 and above full-paying guests: Tour Leader is on full comp
  • Any additional tour leader will be charged 50% of rate (maximum of 4 tour leaders per group)
EVENTS POLICY
  • Any kind of event is subject to a non-refundable deposit to be advised upon enquiry
  • Any deposits Pure Africa pays to 3rd party suppliers are non-refundable
  • A 50% deposit is required on the estimated bar consumption prior to the event
  • Payments:
    • by 90 days prior to event 50% of total amount
    • by 60 days prior to event 100% of total amount
    • 7 days after event any additional charges occurred (i.e. bar bill, last minute add-ons)
    • Late payments attract interest rates at 5% per month
WEB PURCHASE

In the case services are purchased through our website a few specific T&Cs apply (in addition to our standard T&Cs):

Return and refunds: Should Pure Africa cancel the provision of service, it will refund the client in full within 30 days.

Cancellations of orders by client will attract a 5% administration fee.

Customer privacy policy: Pure Africa shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users.

Payment options: Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, Diners or American Express credit cards or by bank transfer into the Pure Africa bank account, the details of which will be provided on request.

Country of domicile: This website is governed by the laws of the Republic of Seychelles and Pure Africa chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature

Sunrise Cruise: 16:30 day before
Lunch Cruise: 09:00 on the day
Private Sunset Cruise: 14:30 on the day (Summer) | 14:00 on the day (Winter)
Sunset Cruise: 15:30 on the day (Summer) | 15:00 on the day (Winter)
Dinner Cruise: 14:00 on the day
Classic Dinner Cruise: 16:30 day before
The Eatery Lunch Experience: 16:30 day before
The Eatery Dinner Experience: 17:00 on the day
The Eatery Potjie Experience: 11:00 on the day
Guided Tour of The Falls: 16:30 day before

BOOKING POLICY

All reservations must be made in writing to the company or through the company’s website and must include at least the following information:

  1. Full names and nationality of guests
  2. Dates for which booking is intended
  3. Number of guests
  4. Special dietary requirements (if applicable)
  5. Hotel pick up and drop off point
  • All reservations will only be deemed confirmed when a voucher guarantee is received, or full payment has been made
  • All clients must be in possession of a valid travel voucher from their reseller and will need to present this prior to embarking on any Pure Africa Experience
  • All reservations, cancellations & amendments for FIT & Groups are to be made and confirmed in writing by both parties
  • All reservations will be held provisional for a maximum of 14 days from date of reservations unless a confirmed status by voucher number is provided by reseller
  • Reservations made inside of 30 days prior to date of service will be held provisional for 48 hours unless confirmed status by voucher number or full payment is provided by reseller
  • Provisional bookings will be held for periods stipulated above. Thereafter, Pure Africa reserves the right to release any such provisional booking. However, should Pure Africa receive a confirmed booking during this stipulated period, you will be informed in writing to confirm your reservation. Failure to do so within 24 hours may result in the booking being cancelled
  • Specific for Pure Africa experiences: Pure Africa reserves the right to cancel any bookings that were obtained by a reseller in a fashion that is potentially misleading for clients. In particular, cases in which a reseller portrays to be the experience originator and uses Pure Africa marketing collateral to do so
PAYMENT POLICY
  • Payment must be received in full prior to date of service unless a credit facility has been granted
  • Should payments not be received by due date or supporting voucher, Pure Africa reserves the right to cancel the reservations, and any reinstatements will require full payment
  • All bank charges are for the payee’s account
  • A surcharge of 3.5% will be levied on credit card payments
  • Please quote our booking reference in any correspondence concerning this booking
CANCELLATION POLICY
  • Cancellations must be received in writing through our reservations department

FIT Cancellations

  • 1 to 30 days before date of service: 100% cancellation fees
  • 31 to 60 days before date of service: 20% cancellation fees

Group Cancellations (more than 10 pax)

  • 1 to 60 days before date of service: 100% cancellation fees
  • 61 to 90 days before date of service: 50% cancellation fees

Weddings & Events Cancellations

  • 1 to 60 days before date of service: 100% cancellation fees
  • 61 to 90 days before date of service: 50% cancellation fees

Exceptions to the Cancellation Policy

  • Proof of medical certificate
  • Bereavements (spouse/child)
  • Cancellation due to weather or any other circumstances only by Pure Africa (not by client)
VARIATION

Pure Africa reserves the right to amend rates and terms and conditions in the event of a change in legislation regarding VAT, National Parks fees or any other statutory legislation.

PRIVACY POLICY

At Pure Africa, your privacy is our primary concern. We respect your privacy and commit to protect any information that you share with us. We shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users.
